2008, Champion: North Carolina (14-2): The Tar Heels were 6-2 at the halfway point of league play, two games behind Duke, after an 89-78 home loss to the Blue Devils. Duke improved to 10-0 before losing back-to-back road games against Wake Forest and Miami. The Blue Devils and UNC met in Durham for a winner-take-all finale, and the top-ranked Tar Heels claimed a 76-68 victory.
