Rarely has a Tar Heel experienced as many points on the basketball spectrum as Dexter Strickland has during his career at North Carolina. In reflection, Strickland’s ranking as the No. 1 point guard in the country as a high school junior – despite solely playing the off guard position – fits perfectly with the expectations and obstacles that the Rahway, N.J. native has encountered in Chapel Hill.
