High Point gives Scott Cherry contract extension

High Point University has signed head men's basketball coach Scott Cherry to a four-year contract extension that will run through the 2016-17 season, Athletic Director Craig Keilitz announced on Thursday. The Panthers won the North Division of the Big South this season, the program's first Big South title. (High Point Panthers)
