No. 1 UNC Falls To No. 29 Miami, 4-1


No. 1 North Carolina suffered its first loss of the 2013 season on Friday as No. 29 Miami claimed a 4-1 win to open a three-game set Friday night at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels (16-1, 3-1 ACC) saw their 16-game winning streak to open the season snapped as the Hurricanes (15-5, 2-2 ACC) used a three-run fifth inning to take control of the matchup.
