The NCAA tournament selection committee set the table for a juicy third-round matchup in the South Region, where Coach Roy Williams and eighth-seeded North Carolina would meet No. 1 Kansas. But to get there, the Tar Heels will have to get past a boom-or-bust team from the Big East. Villanova, UNC’s opponent on Friday, cobbled together an impressive list of wins against top-tier competition.
