Vince Carter becomes 28th player in NBA history to surpass 22,000 career points

Vince Carter surpassed 22,000 points for his career Monday night, becoming the 28th player in NBA history to cross that threshold. Carter scored 13 points, including 3-of-5 three-pointers, in 24 minutes to help the Dallas Mavericks defeat the Atlanta Hawks 127-113 in Atlanta.
