Brewer: NCAA Opener Flashback

March 15, 1991: Fourth-ranked North Carolina placed five players in double figures and pounded Northeastern, 101-66, in an NCAA first round game at the Carrier Dome. The victory sent the Tar Heels, the top seed in the East Regional, on to face Villanova in the second round. The 35-point win was Carolina's largest margin of victory ever in an NCAA Tournament game.
