Youth Striving at Defensive Back

North Carolina’s pass defense ranked 81st nationally in 2012, allowing nearly 250 yards per game. The effort to reverse that trend includes plenty of spring snaps for underclassmen in the defensive backfield. In three games against its in-state ACC rivals – Wake Forest, Duke and N.C. State – UNC gave up 1,105 yards and six touchdowns through the air. (Inside Carolina)
