No. 1 North Carolina (28-2, 11-2 ACC) battled back from an early deficit to claim a 5-3 series-clinching win over Maryland (16-14, 4-10 ACC) Saturday night at Boshamer Stadium. The Terrapins jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top half of the first inning as they scored a pair of runs against Tar Heel starter Benton Moss.
