Trent Thornton Thriving in New Role

Trent Thornton’s impressive freshman season has earned him a move from mid-week starter to weekend reliever. And he’s thriving in that new role, which even included an opportunity at the plate on Sunday. Thornton improved his record to 7-0, thanks to his effective four-and-a-third innings behind Sunday starter Hobbs Johnson.
