Vince Carter passes Clyde Drexler on scoring list

36-year-old Vince Carter was a pleasure to watch Monday night. In the season’s next-to-last game, with little on the line, Carter played with youthful zeal and in the process passed another legend on the NBA’s career scoring list. Carter passed Clyde Drexler for 27th place when he scored career points 22,196 and 22,197 on a reverse layup with 3:30 left in the first quarter against Memphis. (Dallas Morning News)
