Florida State QB Clint Trickett To Transfer


Florida State announced Thursday it has granted quarterback Clint Trickett his release, a move that paves the way for highly heralded Jameis Winston to win the starting job. Here is more from the Seminoles' release: "After a long meeting with Clint, he expressed he’d like to explore another playing opportunity, and I’ve signed off on his wish," coach Jimbo Fisher said in a statement.
