UNC women's lacrosse falls to Maryland in ACC finals


Maryland went on a 7-1 run to start the second half and defeated North Carolina, 12-8, in the ACC Tournament championship game on Sunday. The Terrapins won their fifth consecutive ACC championship, becoming the first team to do so. The top-seeded and top-ranked Terrapins (19-0) seized control by scoring six goals in the first 10:12 of the second half. (GoHeels.com)
