Cooter Arnold suspended indefinitely

Cooter Arnold played all over the place during his first two seasons on the North Carolina football team. But he won't play anywhere in UNC's season opener against James Madison on Saturday (6 p.m., ESPN 360) at Kenan Stadium. Arnold has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules, UNC coach Butch Davis said Wednesday. (Durham Herald-Sun)
