ACC Tournament: UNC 10, Miami 0 (8)

The Tar Heels did everything right at the plate and in the field on the way to a 10-0 pasting of Miami in game shortened to eight innings by the ACC Tournament mercy-rule. It was the first time in three straight tries UNC has beaten Miami in ACC Tournament play. Kent Emanuel gave up just four hits and threw a tidy 96 pitches in shutting down the Hurricanes.
