UNC outlasts N.C. State, 2-1, in 18 innings


All you need to know about UNC’s 2-1 victory against N.C. State in the ACC baseball championship on Saturday night, and into Sunday morning, is this: By the time it ended, Carlos Rodon’s brilliant 10-inning pitching performance, in which he allowed just one hit and struck out 14, was a distant memory.
