UNC wins ACC baseball tournament in only nine innings


For a change, North Carolina’s baseball team did its best work in the afternoon. After playing extra inning games on back-to-back nights that lasted past midnight at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, the Tar Heels completed an incredible three-day, 41-inning run at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday with a 4-1 ACC tournament championship victory over Virginia Tech.
