A dream come true for UNC football walk-on Christian Poveromo

As a longtime University of North Carolina fan, Wilmington (NC) Hoggard dual-threat quarterback Christian Poveromo had dreams of becoming part of the Tar Heels football program. In August, that dream will finally become a reality. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete will officially enroll as a student in Chapel Hill and he will walk-on to the Tar Heels football team. Poveromo calls this an opportunity he simply couldn’t pass up. (Carolina Blue)
