Baseball commit Rob Kaminsky selected in first round of MLB Draft


Rob Kaminsky got exactly what he wanted. And, despite a few hours of tension, he didn’t seem surprised. The St. Louis Cardinals made the St. Joseph left-hander from Englewood Cliffs the first Bergen County player taken directly out of high school in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft, tabbing him with the 28th pick Thursday night.
