There have been some highlights — national championships last year in men's golf and women's volleyball, and a trip to the Women's College World Series in softball this month — but not in the major sports. Mack Brown's football team, which won more games than any program in the country from 1998 to 2009, is 22-16 since losing the national championship game three years ago.
