Errors prove costly for South Carolina in Game 1 loss

It's hard to win any game when you commit three errors, with two leading directly to runs. It's nearly impossible to win when you make those kinds of mistakes against the No. 1 team in the nation on its home field. The Gamecocks played one of their worst defensive games of the year on Saturday, committing the second-most errors in a game they have all season.
