North Carolina fills out CWS field

North Carolina became the final team to punch its ticket to Omaha with a 5-4 victory over South Carolina on Tuesday in the final of the Chapel Hill, N.C., super regional. The Tar Heels join Indiana, Louisiana State, Louisville, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Oregon State and UCLA in the College World Series field. CWS play begins Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park. (Omaha World-Herald)
