NCAA raises the stakes with rule change

Moving kickoffs back will result in fewer touchbacks, which will give return teams more chances to make big plays, which means that kickers could find themselves in position to make tackles more often. The rule change could turn out to be a major positive for the Tar Heels, who have a solid kickoff coverage unit and star power in specialists Barth and junior Brandon Tate. (Durham Herald-Sun)
