UNC, N.C. State renew baseball rivalry on biggest stage


Stakes? Raised. Pressure? Ratcheted up. North Carolina (57-10) and N.C. State (49-14) will play each other for the fourth time this season and the second time this postseason. The rivals have faced off against each other for over 100 years, and both have built storied college basketball traditions along Tobacco Road. But they’ve never met in the NCAA Tournament. Until now.
