See the future, be the future

Connor Barth, a senior place-kicker from Wilmington, has learned to see the future before it happens, and this ability helped him achieve perfection on the football field in 2006. After working with Dr. Elizabeth Hedgpeth, a sports psychologist at UNC, Barth bounced back from a sophomore season in which he went 11-of-21 on field goals to make all 10 attempts last season. Two of those came from beyond 50 yards. (Carolina Blue)
