Iron Man Award Suits Spurling, Tar Heels

James Spurling is the former owner of Eastgate BP. He retired in 2005, and is now the Director of Kenan Stadium. Since the 2006 season ended, Spurling has been in charge of renovations at the stadium and in the football center. "It's the Iron Man award," Spurling said. "I'm the first person to get on there that wasn't an athlete. I'm real proud of it." (Tar Heel Blue)
