No title for Tar Heels

After winning four elimination games in the NCAA Tournament, North Carolina’s run toward its first national championship in baseball finally ended Friday night as the Tar Heels fell to UCLA 4-1 in the College World Series. UNC came in with the third-highest scoring offense in the country, averaging 7.9 runs a game, but was shut down by Bruins sophomore Grant Watson. (Durham Herald-Sun)
