Report: UNC basketball in the running for Penn State transfer Jermaine Marshall

Penn State shooting guard Jermaine Marshall is considering transferring to North Carolina, Florida State, Creighton or Arizona State for his redshirt senior season, according to a tweet from Jon Rothstein of the CBS Sports Network. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Marshall, who averaged 15.3 points per game last season, plans to graduate from Penn State on Aug. 10 and be immediately eligible next season as a graduate student, according to ESPN.com.
