Jerry Tarkanian leaves 11-day hospital stint on a pacemaker

Hall-of-Famer Jerry Tarkanian has spent most of the past two weeks in the hospital, according to a report from the Associated Press. The legendary former UNLV coach, now 82, spent 11 days in a San Diego hospital because of clogged arteries and to have a pacemaker installed, per the report. Danny Tarkanian, Jerry's son, told the AP his father was due to leave Scripps Memorial Hospital Wednesday.
