UNC subject of White House petition

On Tuesday, a White House petition entitled "Investigate the fraud and misuse of federal funds involving athletics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill" was created. The number of signatures reached 100 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, meaning 99,900 more are needed by Aug. 22 for the White House to offer an official response. (Fayetteville Observer)
