Tar Heels Place 279 On ACC Academic Honor Roll

A total of 279 North Carolina student-athletes have been named to the 2006-07 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced Monday by the ACC. The Tar Heel honorees are among a league-record 2,710 student-athletes recognized from the 12 conference schools. All 28 UNC varsity sports are represented. Seventeen Tar Heels earned spots on the list for the fourth time in their careers.
