Roy Williams chips in to help longtime friend Jim Calhoun at coach's Celebrity Golf Classic

It’s that respect that brought North Carolina coach Roy Williams to town to play in this year’s event for the first time. Williams has known Calhoun since Calhoun was head coach at Northeastern and brought his staff down to Chapel Hill, N.C., to visit then-UNC coach Dean Smith “about 100 years ago, it seems like,” Williams said with a smile.
