Gamecocks prepare for Tar Heels' fast-paced approach

Practicing football in the August heat is tough enough, but doing it while preparing for the fast-placed offensive attack of North Carolina makes it even tougher. That’s the challenge South Carolina takes on as the Gamecocks move closer to their Aug. 29 season-opening game with the Tar Heels. “What we’ve learned is that they get back to the ball fast. They run plays really fast.”
