Attention Turns to Opener

North Carolina’s training camp broke officially following Monday morning’s practice, but not before the Tar Heels turned their attention to No. 7 South Carolina. An extended game week of sorts began in the drizzle at Navy Fields less than 24 hours before the fall semester opens. UNC’s emphasis was evident as the scout team donned garnet pennies, one of the Gamecocks’ primary colors.
