No decision on UNC starting QB

First-year head coach Butch Davis had, more than a week ago, earmarked Saturday as the time he hoped to name North Carolina’s starting quarterback for the 2007 opener. But all Davis announced as the Tar Heels closed out their first week of preseason practice is that no decision had been reached on the quarterback job. (Fayetteville Observer)
