Chaz Frank's heroics keep Canadians' playoff hopes alive

Chaz Frank helped keep the Vancouver Canadians' playoff hopes alive with his bat and then his glove Monday night. The centre-fielder singled home Dawel Lugo from third in the seventh inning to give the C's a 2-1 lead over the Spokane Indians at Nat Bailey Stadium. In the top of the eighth, he ran down a Joe Jackson fly ball in right centre and then threw Eduard Pinto out at first base to end the frame. (The Province)
