Grounded by the Gamecocks

When it came down to it, North Carolina just couldn’t find enough success at all three of those aspects in its season-opening 27-10 loss at the hands of the Gamecocks on Thursday night. The effort, the fight, the enthusiasm – they were all there. It was a plain lack of execution in all three areas of the game that did the Tar Heels in. (Carolina Blue)
