Charlotte 49ers first football game an unqualified success

There’s only one first time, and the Charlotte 49ers nailed it. Now the pressure is on for an encore. And that means more than just another successful Saturday afternoon. The 49ers’ 52-7 program-launching victory against Campbell was a nice way to start, but winning the first game really doesn’t matter. (Winston-Salem Journal)
