T.J. Yates named Texans' backup quarterback


T.J. Yates got the gig. But Case Keenum made the competition closer than anyone expected and isn’t going away anytime soon. Coach Gary Kubiak announced Thursday that Yates will back up starter Matt Schaub to begin the Texans’ season.
