Controlling Possession


The potency of Georgia Tech’s offense puts extra pressure on the Tar Heel offense to sustain long drives. Turnovers and short fields are almost guaranteed touchdowns on the other end. The Yellow Jackets’ run-heavy offense dominates time of possession and wears on the defense, so the Tar Heels need to move the chains and manufacture long scoring drives of their own in response.
