Emails: UNC worried about ACC when Maryland quit conference


Amid the swirl of rumors and speculation after Maryland announced that it would leave the ACC to join the Big Ten, North Carolina athletic director Bubba Cunningham expressed concern about the future of the ACC, and whether it could compete financially with other conferences. “We are looking at all options,” Cunningham wrote last November.
