It’s been quite a whirlwind week for new Kane County Cougars reliever Andrew Carignan. He made his professional debut Saturday, turned 21 on Monday and earned his first professional save in Tuesday’s 5-4 win against Dayton. “A lot has been happening,” Carignan said. “I love it so far. This has been the plan since I could remember, go to college for three years and then come do this. So far so good. It’s going according to plan.”
