Nyheim Hines scores five TDs, rolls up 449 yards in win over Clayton


Nyheim Hines’ fifth touchdown of the night was the fourth straight time Garner had responded to a Clayton score. Hines totaled 449 all-purpose yards on the night. He ran for 207 yards on 31 carries, caught five balls for 89 yards, threw a 45-yards pass and had 108 kick return yards, including a 98-yard kick off return for a touchdown to open the second half. The 5-foot-8, 182-pound junior scored on runs of 18, 22 and 15 yards as well. He also batted down Clayton’s last-ditch Hail Mary pass on the final play of the game. (Raleigh News & Observer)
