Maryland assistant Dalonte Hill takes leave of absence after third DUI
Posted Oct 22, 2013
Maryland assistant men’s basketball coach Dalonte Hill will take a leave of absence from the program, effectively immediately. A statement released by the school cited “personal matters,” and a Maryland spokesman declined further comment. On Sunday night, Maryland arrest records show that Hill was cited for driving under the influence, his second such offense since joining the Terrapins two seasons ago and third as a college basketball coach after being arrested in 2008 on the same charge while at Kansas State.
