Eric Ebron making his case as nation’s best tight end


Before the season started, North Carolina football coach Larry Fedora told tight end Eric Ebron that he wanted him to score a dozen touchdowns this year. Having gotten into the end zone only three times in the Tar Heels’ first six games, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound junior is probably going to fall short of that goal. But that doesn’t mean Ebron hasn’t lived up to expectations. (Wilmington Star News)
