Maryland loses starting point guard to broken foot
Wednesday, October 30, 2013
Maryland sophomore guard Seth Allen has a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will miss 8 to 10 weeks. Allen was set to start at the point, but coach Mark Turgeon told ESPN.com that the role will fall to Dez Wells, with highly touted freshman Roddy Peters serving as the backup point guard. The 6-foot-1 Allen suffered the injury at the end of Tuesday's practice when he landed awkwardly on the foot. (ESPN.com)
