Roy Williams Awaits P.J. Hairston's Fate

As the calendar prepares for one last turn ahead of North Carolina’s season opener against Oakland, it has become apparent that the P.J. Hairston decision is no longer in Roy Williams's hands. It was UNC spokesperson Steve Kirschner, not Roy Williams, that shared the news with the media on Thursday that Hairston, along with senior guard Leslie McDonald, would sit out Friday’s opener.
