Tar Heel state producing Division I talent

The topic about where North Carolina ranks in the nation for producing major-college football talent usually comes up around national signing day in February. But with the large number of in-state players already holding scholarship offers from NCAA Division I-A programs, several messages have already arrived in my e-mail posing the question. While no official national rankings have been formulated, North Carolina would likely occupy a spot in the top 20. (Fayetteville Observer)
