Holy Cross at No. 12 North Carolina: Three to know

Despite its humble profile these days, Holy Cross does have a rich basketball tradition. The team boasts Celtics legend Bob Cousy as an alum and won an NCAA title in 1947. The Crusaders beat the Tar Heels in the 1952 Dixie Classic. North Carolina got a measure of revenge in 1956, beating Holy Cross in Boston Garden. The current Holy Cross team is coming off a seventh-place finish in the Patriot League. (Fayetteville Observer)
