Improved run game fuels Tar Heel football renaissance

The Tar Heels averaged 193.8 yards a game on the ground last season when it set school records for points and yards, but they are only averaging 118.7 yards this season, which ranks 109th in the FBS. Still, UNC is running the ball better than it has all season heading into today’s game against Pittsburgh at Heinz Field
